Thoughts of the day…1.14.13

What did you learn new today? Seek wisdom and truth in all you do!  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. So true. Sometimes we think we know His plans when in reality they are not. Let us seek His true calling inour life daily. You never know you may be surprised bE cOnTaGiOuS

Oh the fun we have….

I just love my kids.  I love when we have a smooth school day as we did today.  Since becomining an at home/working mommy I have been trying to get some holiday lessons together because our little girl loves doing them.  I must say I haven’t been doing a good job at keeping up, but without fail each morning she wakes up asking to do her lesson.  So this week we have been working on worksheets from that are the Polar Express Tot Packs.  Our tot loves doing them and so does Bubba.  Herer are some things we did today:

Bubba helping Sissy.  He wants to do everything she does!!!!!!!!

See momma I can do it!!!

Sissy knows what she’s doing

And boy does she love her puzzles

Have to remind her to slow down as she thinks she is in some race!

Ok so now here’s the question to all you seasoned homeschoolin mommies

Love my boy boy

Year end already????…….

4For real?  Are we really almost ending the year of 2012? I truly cannot believe this.  As I lay here thinking about this year and seeing where God has taken me I am just astonished.  He has made things happen that i thought were impossible. Even still at times i think this is not real.  It has been my prayer for 3 and a half years to be home with my children.  It has been quite the journey through the years and many times i could not see this blessing come through.

I was taken through some questioning of my faith.  My true faith of knowing I am called by God to be something but feeling it was never going to come to life.  Through many tears, questions, trials of finances that never seem to end my calling is being fulfilled.  Home with my kiddies for the last two weeks has been the biggest blessing I could ever ask for!  I am still being stretched as i try to create balance between my job that I do from home and my job of being a mommy which is more difficult than i thought but i’ll get it.  I still question if we can financially do this since we are more in debt  than most of you reading this (and by no means am i bragging about that!).But its true……God calls us to listen for Him and even when we don’t hear Him we continue to seek Him.  Money cannot rule me (or lack thereof).  I mean we cannot deny that we cannot live without money, but it is how we allow ourselves to view it.  My God rules me, not the money that flows in and out.  money is short-lived but a relationship with our everlasting Father is eternal.  As I think about this year and what God has accomplished in my life I am so happy to be a part of it.  Have learned so much about myself.  Iam strong because He makes me strong. Sallie Mae I declare that you cannot own me.  I am and will continue to pay you down, but I will live on…….Year 2012 coming to an end…One happy mommy, Onehappy Daddy, and 2 very happy children.

2013 I am hoping to not only get in shape physically but more importantly get in shape Spiritually!!!  My blogging goals this year is to reach homeschooling moms, people struggling through debt and last and very importantly Empowering women!!!
